class camp

Hi camp has come to an end and I gained a pretty long excruciating outcome. I honestly did not find camp a memorable one as I had a major headache and cough for three consecutive days and there were a few hiccups throughout but I managed to get into the same group as Claudia and Group D was much of an enjoyment so it definitely enlightened me up quite a bit. I thank God for allowing me to survive two days of Mother Nature where you see me complaining almost every second. Alrights, I shall sum up what happen during the three days of camp.

Day One. We managed to escape morning assembly and proceeded our journey to Changi MOE Adventure Centre. Started the first activity off with kayaking, I had fun in the middle of the sea with Claudia trying to grab many leaves for our souvenir back to land overall kayaking was one of the nicest memory in the camp (?). Lunch arrived and we went to set up our tents after that. Rafting was next and half the time I seriously had no idea what the instructors were teaching about whatever knots here and there so I tried to pretend as though I did understand :-) We had to build a raft and after three rounds of lecture we were broken up into two groups our group managed to succeed in building a raft and I was pretty satisfied heh we then had our outdoor cooking which was rather troublesome because ants were crawling everywhere and I had to struggle to protect my dinner but I must say this was the best meal I had during the camp. Dusk fell and we bathed.supper.slept. Ps: Jia Xin, Fitri, Claudia and I were the milo executives again :(

Day Two. I woke up several times because of some inconsiderate people shouting, screaming and laughing at the top of their voices plus aeroplanes were flying pass almost every five to ten minutes and it was only four in the morning so obviously I did not have a goodnight sleep and I got up from my tent feeling lethargic. Then, we unpitch our tents, had breakfast and headed for more Mother Nature. I had a sweet beauty sleep in the bus while on the way to Sungei Buloh and I guessed Claudia did not because she was suffering with the bus jerking throughout the whole entire journey. We arrived at Sungei Buloh ‘ Blood Donation Drive ‘ , I was busy wiping off mosquitoes from drinking my blood and whining the whole time that I guess Speedy got quite fed up (hehe). Seok Yee, Tessa, Claudia and I greeted a group of Japanese and Caucasians and I must say they are the most friendly bunch of humans left on this Earth unlike those CHIJ small little primary school girls who we greeted and they shot us a disgusted look. I got off Mother Nature with three love bites from Mrs Mosquito and I scratched till it bled. I hope I don’t have to go back there anymore, please and thank you! :-) We left for school, lunch and did our Challenge Rope Course. I managed to only complete two low ones due to strain of time and just when I was about to complete the Leap Of Faith, it started to drizzle I guessed God is trying to tell me not to attempt oh well my heart was trembling anyway. We then had our campfire preparation and had limited time to do so. Group D came up with America Got Talent which was hilarious. Campfire was crazy but mediocre and for the first time I shouted like nobody’s business and hm my voice became real disgusting the next day. We had disco in the music room but I was dying of fatigue so I just sat aside and watched people dance (HAHA) I laughed like madness. Then, we bathed.supper.slept.

Day Three. We did not do much. We escaped morning assembly again and played Oxygen or whatever it is called after that we watched some CPR demonstration, I was trying real hard to keep my eyes open, we went to the camp room to do some bandaging sessions and I guessed everyone was fooling around (HA). Claudia tried bandaging my head and I tell you, if you ever need to bandage any part of your body, don’t find her because if you do hmmmm you will know why I said that :- ) Freddy bandaged my hand and it made my fingers feel damn fat and my hands look so ewwwwwwwwww and all Claudia did was to laugh (ZzzzZzzz) Stupid girl. We went to the computer lab after that and did surveys and complete our Mother Nature worksheet. I was freezing inside the lab and yeah I felt like I was depriving of the sun. Camp ended off with an atrocious one but I did have a little bit of fun so I shan’t give any comments. Soon it was time to go home and I went back and had an awesome seven hours long of sleep. Though camp had many somber unmemorable times, I’m grateful for the teachers who put in effort to make this camp possible. Alrights, I shall end off here. I look forward to sec three camp next year pray that nothing will go wrong yay luv you guys : )

Victoria.
